Dimapur, June 25: Dimapur police is increasing its vigilance and surveillance of the city by upgrading the existing closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in different locations around the commercial hub.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror on Tuesday, the PRO of Dimapur police said that the work is being carried out under the initiative of the DGP.
The cameras being installed are of better quality and will improve the surveillance system and ensure better security in the city, he informed. “It will act as a serious deterrent to criminals and anyone carrying out illegal activities. So people committing anti-social activities should have to be very careful from now on,” he stated.
