DIMAPUR — One unidentified male, aged around 40-45 years, who was found in an unconscious state near Ao church area in Kohima on December 16, passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Nagaland Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK).
A police report stated that the dead body has been kept at North Police Station morgue for identification. Relatives and friends of the deceased are asked to contact the North Police Station, Kohima, on phone no. 7005986018 for further information.
In a separate incident, Dimapur Police recovered an unidentified male body of a non-Naga, aged 40–45 years, from the Dimapur (DMR)-Rangapahar (RXR) section (KM 258/3) on Saturday.
A police report stated that the body was found inside the railway track and suspected to have run over by train. It added that during the body was thoroughly examined to establish identity but no identification card or mobile was found.
It stated that body was shifted to District Hospital morgue for postmortem examination and identification after completion of all legal formalities.
