DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Police recovered the body of a female beneath the Old Dhansiri Bridge in Dimapur on Wednesday.
A telephonic information was received from a duty officer of the East Police Station regarding this on Wednesday at around 4 pm, according to a press release from the Dimapur Police. Accordingly, the duty party rushed to the PO site and found one deceased person (a female), who could not be identified as the body was highly decomposed.
She was found wearing a multi-coloured kurta (ash green, pink, and white), a bluish petticoat, two red bangles with golden dots, and greenish nail polish on her left middle finger.
Following the completion of all legal formalities, the body was transferred to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
During the post-mortem, the doctor estimated the age of the deceased to be between 20 and 30 years old.
