Dimapur police notifies about traffic arrangement for I-Day

Dimapur, Aug. 13 (EMN): Dimapur police, in view of the 72nd Independence Day celebration on Aug 15, 2018, at the DDSC stadium, have notified on the traffic regulation which will be enforced on the day as part of the security arrangement for the smooth conduct of the programme.
The Dimapur Commissioner of Police, in a press note informed that vehicles having car pass ‘Z’ (Red) will be allowed entry inside the DDSC stadium while vehicles with car pass ‘Y’ (Green) will be allowed entry inside Tragopan point ‘towards DDSC stadium’.

The Dimapur police chief informed that the New-field check-gate will be completely sealed and no vehicles will be allowed entry through the inter-state check-gate from 7:00 am till the programme is over.

Besides, entry of vehicles from the Tragopan point will be sealed off completely and only those vehicles with passes will be allowed entry.
The Dimapur police also informed that the stretch between city tower and Tragopan point will be a ‘no-entry zone’ for vehicles other than those with car passes; traffic shall be directed towards Plaza Point from City tower and towards Eros Lane from Tragopan Point. Plying of vehicles from Khermahal Point towards Anwar

Hussain road and vice-versa will not be allowed, the Dimapur police informed.
