Dimapur, Peren’s revenue targets the biggest among districts

Kohima, Feb. 20 (EMN): The department of Finance has listed out the district’s revenue target proposed to be achieved during 2019-20. Dimapur and Peren districts have the largest total revenue target at INR 46615.30 lakh with Kohima district trailing second at INR 21230.60 lakh, according to updates from the department.
The updates were stated in the annual administrative report of the department for 2019-2020.

The Finance department is responsible for all financial administration of the Nagaland government, including preparation of the state’s annual budget.
It exercises control and supervision over the receipts and expenditure of the government and initiates various measures for improvement in fiscal management, additional resources mobilisation, economy and efficiency in government expenditures, it stated.
