Dimapur, Feb. 17 (EMN): Dimapur unit of the Nagaland Pensioners’ Association (NPA) has unanimously elected SK Kenye, retired director of geology and mining, as its new president along with eight executive members for the tenure 2019-2021.
The election was held in its annual general meeting on January 21 at Lotha Hoho Ki under the chairmanship of its outgoing president, I Meren Longchar.
The house has resolved to purchase a plot of land near Senior Treasury Office, Dimapur, to set up its permanent office. In this regard, it resolved to go for one time collection of INR 500 for life pensioners and INR 300 for family pensioners.
It further informed all the pensioners to immediately make ID Card in order to check bogus pensioners.
