Power supply across parts of Dimapur and Niuland will remain suspended on July 2 for transformer installation works
DIMAPUR — Residents in several parts of Dimapur and Niuland districts will face a scheduled power outage on July 2 as the Power department installs a new 10 MVA 66/33 kV transformer at the Dairy Farm sub-station.
In a notification issued by the Dimapur Transmission Division on Tuesday, the department informed that the 66/33/11 kV Dairy Farm and Nito Farm substations will remain under shutdown from 8 am to 1 pm to facilitate the installation work.
Power supply will be affected in areas fed by the following feeders: 11 kV Zani Feeder, 11 kV Darogajan Feeder, 11 kV Shozukhu Feeder, 11 kV Kuhuboto Feeder, 11 kV Vihokhu Feeder, and 33 kV Niuland Feeder.
While acknowledging the inconvenience caused to consumers, the department requested cooperation from the public during the shutdown period.
