Dimapur lad cracks IIT JEE Advanced 2024

DIMAPUR — A lad from Dimapur, Kartik Patni, son of Raj and Khushbu Patni, recently cracked IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2024, which is believed to be one of the toughest exams in the world.

He was considered to be the only IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) aspirant from Nagaland to achieve the feat this year.

An update stated that Kartik will undergo counseling through online mode in the month of July to take admission in one of the most prestigious institutes in the country. He achieved an All India Rank of 2273 out of 1.80 lakh who appeared JEE Advanced 2024.

It may be noted that 14 lakh aspirants appeared JEE Main 2024 after which IIT JEE Advanced 2024 was held.

Kartik scored 99.92 percentile in JEE Main 2024 for which cut-off was 93 percentile marks for the general category of students. Kartik was ranked 1315 in All India Ranks as per JEE Main 2024.

Earlier, Kartik scored 91.2% marks in CBSE’s Class XII exams this year from Sant Gyaneshwar School, Delhi. He also achieved 95.2% marks in Class 10 from Hope Academy, Dimapur, in the year 2022.
