Dimapur, Oct. 29 (EMN): Along with the rest of the country, Dimapur Government College (DGC) observed the week-long Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 starting from October 28 on the theme ‘Integrity - A way of life.”
To mark the occasion, a short programme was held in the college campus on October 28, wherein the assistant professor Dr. Moangkala Longchar has highlighted on the significance of the Vigilance Awareness Week. She spoke on the six principles of integrity as stated by Dr. Henry Cloud in his book “Integrity - The courage to meet the demands of reality,” an update from the college stated on Tuesday.
She called upon the gathering to apply the principles of integrity not only to change the world but to change oneself.
Alemla Imsong, acting principal of the college, administered the citizens pledge of integrity to the gathering consisting of DGC faculty, staff and students. It was followed with online registrations of integrity pledge.
The program was chaired by Dr. Vitosie Vupru, IQAC coordinator, DGC.
A competition on slogan and poster writing on the theme “Integrity - A way of life” was also conducted for the students of DGC.
