Dimapur Government College holds a certificate distribution programme for its Jewellery Designer and Beauty and Wellness skill courses.

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Government College (DGC) organised a joint certificate distribution programme for the Jewellery Designer Course and the Beauty and Wellness Course on April 18.
According to an update, the programme was conducted by the Pradhan Mantri-Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) Monitoring Cell of DGC in collaboration with the Skill Development Committee of DGC under the Vocationalisation of Higher Education initiative.
The Jewellery Designer Course was funded by the Ministry of Education under PM-USHA, and the Beauty and Wellness Course was funded by the Directorate of Higher Education.

Ngungying M delivered a speech on behalf of the trainees. She expressed gratitude to mentor-trainer Zabenthung Murry, the Skill Development Committee, the PM-USHA Monitoring Cell, and the supporting staff for their guidance and for providing the opportunity to explore creativity beyond textbooks.
She noted that the course fostered entrepreneurial skills, brand development, and a collaborative learning environment, inspiring participants to grow and gain confidence as certified jewellery makers.
Imsujungla Jamir spoke on behalf of the Beauty and Wellness Course trainees, conveying gratitude for the mentorship of trainer Hukali Avito Swu. She thanked the management, faculty, and staff for their support and for providing them with the opportunity.
Vice Principal of DGC, Dr. Meripeni Ngully, felicitated the two mentor-trainers for their mentorship and guidance. This was followed by the distribution of certificates to students who successfully completed their courses.
