Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, convened a meeting to chalk out the Republic Day celebrations with HODS and administrative officers under Dimapur district.
A DIPR report stated that the meeting was held in the conference hall of DC’s office on January 18 in which the DC had highlighted the instructions received from the Home department. It also stated that work distributions regarding seat arrangements, decorations, PA system, construction of welcome gate, law and order etc., were discussed in the meeting.
“Visit to institutions would not be permitted as per home department’s direction,” it informed.
The DC has also urged upon all the departments for taking up the responsibilities assigned to them sincerely for ensuring successful celebration of the event.
Also speaking during the meeting, the president of Rotary club Dimapur, Chandu Agarwal, has assured to donate 1000 masks.
