Dimapur DC notes unauthorised medical camps

Dimapur, March 16 (EMN): The district administration of Dimapur has cautioned against conducting unauthorised medical camps in the district. The administration has issued a notice directing organisers to seek prior permission from the authorities. ‘It has come to the knowledge of the undersigned that various types of medical camps are being conducted throughout the district without following any uniform procedures and system. Therefore, henceforth no organisation or societies or any groups are permitted to conduct any medical camp without the permission of District Inspection team,’ the deputy commissioner’s office stated in a press release this week.Any organisation that wishes to conduct medical camps is directed to seek the permission from the deputy commissioner, and chairman of the District Inspection Team. Permission will be granted only after ‘ascertaining the credibility of the medical professionals conducting the camp. Failure to comply with the above directive and leading to any unfortunate event, the organising group shall be wholly responsible,’ the order, appended by Deputy Commissioner Kesonyu Yhome, stated.
