Dimapur, Dec. 18 (EMN): The establishment of the Dimapur Chief Medical Officer has received a fully equipped ambulance, a Force Traveller, donated by Airport Authority of India (AAI) at Dimapur.
Airport Director M Zhimo handed over the keys of the ambulance to CMO Dr. Vikato Kinimi in the presence of Sushil Kumar Patel, deputy commissioner, on Dec. 18 at the CMO’s office.
Kinimi assured that trained health personnel and technicians would be identified and deputed to make the ambulance fully operational at the earliest. “The district is now assured of a ready and reliable ambulance to serve the people,” he said. He stated that the ambulance would be used to give medical coverage to official guests and VIPs invited to the state.
The establishment has expressed gratitude to the AAI and all those who were part of the noble gesture. He thanked the AAI especially for their willingness to contribute and support the medical department in the future as well for the welfare of the people.
