Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): Responding to the call of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to contribute to the government’s effort in mitigating the destructions caused by the recent monsoon rains, Dimapur citizens – individuals, NGOs, schools and colleges – have rose to the occasion and donated an amount of INR 9,36,725 towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
A DIPR report stated that seven cheques were handed over to the chief minister by the president of Indian Red Cross Society Dimapur and chairman of IRCS Dimapur towards the cause.
Meanwhile, DC and president of IRCS, Sushil Kumar Patel also expressed gratitude to all the well wishers who came forward to donate towards the CMs Relief Fund.
