Dimapur, Oct. 12 (EMN): Dimapur District Health Society bade farewell to outgoing chief medical officer CMO), Dr. K Vikato Kinimi, and deputy mass education and information officer, Kunu Angami, during a programme held on October 12 at Green Park, Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, the outgoing CMO Dr. K Vikato Kinimi attributed all the achievements during his tenure to the support and cooperation of the medical officers and staff. He also urged the medical staff to continue working tirelessly for the public and extend the same support and cooperation to the new CMO. Deputy CMO, Dr. Antoly Suu has stated this in an update on Saturday.
Also speaking on the occasion, Kunu Angami said she had given her best in discharging her assigned duties for the past six years. She thanked the CMO and all the staff for their constant encouragement and guidance.
Deputy CMO, Dr. Antoly Suu has thanked the outgoing officers for rendering their valuable services to the people and also appreciated their diligence towards their duties. She stated that the office of CMO Dimapur would always considered them as part to the family.
Dr. Kheshito Zhimo, Dr. Kavito, Dr. Carolyn, Dr. C Tetseo, Dr. Kheshika and Apan also delivered short speeches.
The function was chaired by Dr. Imtiwabong, DVBO, NVBDCP Dimapur. Dr. T Panjung Sangtam has taken charge as the new CMO, Dimapur, on October 9.
