Dimapur Bangali Samaj pays homage to former president

Dimapur, Sep. 1 (EMN): The Dimapur Bangali Samaj (DBS) has paid its heartfelt homage to former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, saying that his death has marked the “end of an era and the vacuum left by him seems difficult to be filled up immediately”.

“He was a vociferous reader. He had been writing his diary for last forty years regularly and had set up the condition that it be published only after his demise. He was a mobile encyclopaedia, an expert on constitutional matters, and a sincere follower of rules and regulations of the parliament. A multi talented personality who adorned the highest constitutional seat has left a void. We bow down to you Sir. Your memory will remain etched forever,” the condolence message read.
