Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) has announced “a total bandh” from September 11 next onwards.
In a press release issued Thursday, the drivers’ union informed that the decision was taken during an ‘emergency meeting held at the union’s head office comprising all the branch offices i.e, Purana Bazaar, 4th mile, 6th mile, Chumukedima, Medziphima, Kuhuboto, and Niuland.’
“The union was of the view that no proposal from the union side was taken up by the regional transport authority (RTA) while fixing the rate which was published earlier. While essential commodities fuel and spare-parts are sky rocketed (sic) it is not checked by concern authority (sic),” the statement read.
