Dimapur Angling Competition to be held on April 8

Dimapur, March 27 (EMN): The Dimapur District Anglers’ Association (DDAA), which is an affiliated association of Anglers Association Nagaland, will be organising the Dimapur Angling Competition 2017 in collaboration with Musu Angling Club, Hoito village on April 8, 2017. The event will be held at Musu Angling Club.
The winners of the competition will be awarded cash prize along with certificates. 1st prize (highest total weight): Rs. 30,000 along with certificate, 2nd prize (highest total weight): Rs. 20,000 along with certificate, 3rd prize (highest total weight): Rs. 10,000 along with certificate and 4th prize (single biggest catch): Rs. 5,000 along with certificate. Certificates along with gift hampers for other prize categories would also be given away during the event.The timing of the competition will from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. However all the participants must reach the venue by 6:00 am for allotment of seats and for the opening function. Organisers will not be held responsible for any participant failing to arrive at the venue after the seating arrangement is complete.
Any angler eager to participate in the event would have to get himself/herself registered by paying a sum of Rs. 1500/- only as competition registration fee. A participant will be allowed to use two rods only. The organising committee shall provide free lunch and water to each participant.
The event is being organised on the basis of limited entrants therefore all intending participants are informed to get themselves registered at the earliest. Registration can be done at Hoks Outdoor World, opposite Christian Higher Secondly School, Dimapur. Further, DDAA has informed all the anglers under Dimapur district that the association has commenced its membership drive for the year 2017-2018. Any angler under the district who will be a member of DDAA would automatically become a member of Anglers Association Nagaland. Anglers of Dimapur those who are going to participate in Dimapur Angling Competition 2017 are informed to get themselves registered to the association at the time of registering for the competition by paying nominal membership fee along with two passport size photo.
