Dimapur alone has 666 active Covid-19 cases as Nagaland’s tally rises to 11,115

Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 24 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 11,115. In regard to active cases among the districts, Dimapur leads with 666.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘24 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Dimapur-19, Kohima-3, and one each in Peren and Tuensang. Also, 25 positive patients have recovered; Tuensang-19, Mon-4, and one each in Mokokchung and Phek,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1218 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1144 are asymptomatic, 57 mild, 12 moderate on oxygen and five critical in ICU.

The state has also recorded 9724 recoveries and 64 deaths, out which seven have been ruled ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 666 cases, followed by Kohima-331, Peren-165, Mon-29, Tuensang-23, Phek-2, Zunheboto and Kiphire one each while Mokokchung, Wokha and Longleng have zero cases so far.
