DIMAPUR — The office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Nagaland has informed all the GPF subscribers of the state government that it has decided to issue digitally signed personal copies of GPF final payment authority to the retired state government officers/officials on their personal e-mail IDs and WhatsApp mobile numbers with effect from August 11.
In a press release, it said that the departmental copies and treasury copies of the GPF final payment authority will be signed copies as usual.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]In this regard, all heads of the department have been requested to furnish the e-mail IDs and WhatsApp mobile numbers of the retired GPF subscribers while forwarding the application for GPF final payment to the office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Nagaland.
The DDOs have been requested to accept the digitally signed personal copy of the GPF final payment authority as authentic for processing the payment.
The release noted that all the DDOs are also expected to register in the DDO module on the online GPF information system (https://nlagpf.gov.in) at the earliest as DDO copies of GPF final payment authorities will be uploaded on the system.
“All the DDOs are expected to forward email applications for GPF final payment online at agaenagaland@cag.gov.in or saogpf.nld.ae@cag.gov.in so as to facilitate hassle-free and quick issuance of GPF final payment authority. This office is expecting the highest cooperation from all the DDOs as well as the GPF subscribers for making this initiative a success,” it read.
