DHS Longleng holds first quarter review meeting

DIMAPUR — The District Health Society (DHS) Longleng conducted its first quarter (Financial year 2024-25) review meeting at CMO conference hall on Thursday.

In his address, chief medical officer (CMO) Longleng, Dr. Tiasunep emphasised on report and record keeping, giving priority to monitoring and supervision of all the health units and health facilities, and timely reporting by health units, an update stated.

The CMO also stated that reports should be properly verified by the concerned reporting health units and block medical officers (MOs) before submission to district and state headquarters.

Further, in order to increase the department’s ability to achieve overall goals, Tiasunep informed that if any issues arise during reporting, one should report to higher authority for immediate redressal.

Vertical programme reporting, data accuracy and health management information system were discussed one after another by respective DPOs - NVBDCP, NTEP, IDSP and Adolescent Health.

The review meeting was attended by all medical officers and programme officers.
