Dimapur, April 29 (EMN): The Directorate of Health & Family Welfare bade adieu to the Principal Director and three other officers on April 29 at the Directorate, under the chairmanship of Additional Director of DH&FW, Dr. P. Tia Jamir.
Commissioner & Secretary (H&FW), Abhijit Sinha, IAS in his speech congratulated the outgoing officers for their 35 active years of service to the Department and wished them good health and a prosperous life ahead.
Officers and staffs of the department in their voluntary speeches described the outgoing Principal Director and Director (H) as very dynamic and energetic active leaders who worked effortlessly with immense devotion for the well being of the department. Outgoing Principal Director, Dr. L. Watikala Ao, in her speech thanked all the officers and staffs for all the strong support rendered to her in her 35 years of service to the department, and requested the staffs to keep up the good work and continue to give the same support and encouragement to the upcoming officers and work as a team.
Dr. John Sweyievisa Director (H) in his farewell speech also thanked God for his 35 years of continuous service and also thanked the department for giving the privilege to work in the department.
Earlier, invocation pronounced by Dr. Puse Liegise, Deputy Director of DH&FW and a citation was presented by Dr. Bendangyanger Mission Director (NHM). Special numbers were presented by officers and staffs of NSACS and Dr. C.Y Kithan.
