Dhansiriphar school remembers Swami Vivekananda

The “annual function” of Gamadi Vidya Bharati School in Dhansiripar observed the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand on December 16.
“Infrastructure and different educational facilities are necessary for surrounding development of children in any educational institution. But working together activities of school managing committees, teachers’ group, guardians, local societies and students are more helpful for surrounding development, which I am feeling here” Manoj Bhattacharya principal of Pranavanand Higher Secondary School in Dimapur Manoj Bhattacharya said addressing the gathering.
“The future of this school is to enlighten. Swami Vivekanand travelled the whole country and gave the message that ‘human being is real shape of God’, he said. On September 11, 1893, in Chicago world Dharm Sabha of America Swami Vivekanand introduced the distinguished concepts of Bharat country, Sanatan Dharm of Bharat, Vedant of Bharat and brotherhood of Bharat. The whole world accepted the message of Swamiji,” he said.
Also, the principal of Hindi College of Padumpukhuri in Dimapur and president of Janjati Shiksha Samiti, Piyong Temjen Jamir advised opening ‘smart classes’ in the school. Other speakers, Minist Jigdung and Birod Langthasa, encouraged the public in local dialects to admit their wards in the school. Pradhanacharya in-charge of the school Sapana Sorongsa presented a report of the yearly academic activities of school. a colorful traditional and patriotism-themed program was also conducted by the students a aprt of the function.
Further, as part of the anniversary of the Indian thinker, Gamadi Vidya Bharati School conducted a drawing and essay-writing competition.
