Dimapur, Aug. 16 (EMN): The convenor of Dimapur Football League (DFL) in an update on Friday stated that the second edition of DFL will be played at night. The exhibition/trial match for the night matches of Dimapur Football League (DFL) Season 2 was successfully played on August 15, where Dimapur Naga Students’ Union thrashed the organising team 4-2, according to an update from the DFL on Friday.
In another exhibition match, 80’s Footprint beat Nagaland Super 5 (1-0).
The update also stated that the opening ceremony of DFL Season 2 will be held on September 3 at the DDSC Stadium in Dimapur with Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, Zale Neikha as the chief invitee.
