After nine successful collections, Khrielasier Liezietsu, 21-year old designer from Kohima is all set to release his 10th collection, “Kayan Fall/Winter” on Dec. 12 at Ura Academy Hall at 6pm, a press note stated.
The collection is said to have been inspired by the Kayan, a sub tribe of the Tibeto-Burman ethnic minority of Myanmar, mostly known for the long neck brass rings worn by the women.
This 10th collection will showcase silhouette, all about mix-and-match of contrast presenting a sense of drama, emphasizing sharp angles and playing with varying tones throughout the collection, reinventing classic silhouettes and rethinking the approach of the Kayan tribe, stated the release.
The fabric used for the dresses varies from blends of synthetic and natural materials.
Further the release mentions that the show is sponsored by Leni vans, Hobby haven, fusion, runway, Dana and Fifa cafe.
300 people from fashion bloggers, designers, entrepreneurs to investors and other icons are expected to witness the show.
40 models is said to be walking the ramp displaying the collection and 30 people working in teams will be working together for the success of the show.
