Deputy CM Y Patton felicitates HSLC topper
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and his family felicitated Mhachilo Yanthan, who topped the HSLC examination 2024 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), at his residence in Ikishe village, Chümoukedima, on Sunday.
Mhachilo, a student of Christian Higher Secondary School in Dimapur, secured an aggregate of 593 marks.
According to a DIPR report, Patton and his wife congratulated her and presented a cash award in the presence of her father, Constable of 7th NAP Zaremo Yanthan, her mother, Lucy Yanthan, and the Commandant of 7th NAP, Menangmeren.
Taking note of Mhachilo’s achievement, Patton encouraged her to continue pursuing her studies with determination, aiming to bring more laurels. Patton said that Mhachilo’s achievement had not only made her family proud but also brought pride to the entire Lotha community.
He encouraged her to approach him in the event of any need arising. Patton also congratulated all the toppers and successful candidates for the HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2024.
Meanwhile, Mhachilo and her parents expressed gratitude to Patton and his family for their encouragement and acknowledgment.
