DIMAPUR — The Department of Labour Commissioner has issued a circular stating that the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Scheme has been extended to all the districts of Nagaland state as notified by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, effective from May 1, 2025, and November 1, 2025, respectively.
According to a DIPR report, all concerned employers of establishments employing 10 or more persons have been informed to register their establishments along with their coverable employees by January 31.
The establishments include shops, hotels, restaurants, road motor transport establishments, newspaper establishments, private educational institutions, and private medical institutions.
