Dimapur, Sep. 10 (EMN): Office of the district education officer (DEO), Kohima, organised a felicitation programme for the teacher award recipients from the district during 2020 and 2021 in its office on September 10.
An update from DEO office, Kohima, stated that a total of 18 teacher award recipients along with some invitees attended the ceremony in a programme led by senior SDEO of Kohima, Theyievilie Suohumvü, who also delivered the welcome address. It added that a short speech was delivered by Kevizeno Savino, SDEO of Chiephobozou, who shared words of encouragement to the teacher awardees.
It stated that the awardees were felicitated with certificates followed with a short speech delivered by Martina Sekhose, GT of Rüzhükhrie GHSS, Kohima on behalf of the awardees. The programme concluded with closing remarks from the chairperson.
