DEO Dimapur bids farewell to outgoing officer

Dimapur, Feb. 25 (EMN): Office of the District Education Officer (DEO), Dimapur, organised a farewell programme in honour of its outgoing DEO C Chinirao Humtsoe in its office on Thursday.

Speaking at the programme, the officer has termed his 35 years in service as “wonderful journey.” Stating that his stay in office was a short period as he was promoted and posted as DEO, he said it was a memorable one and would remember it for the rest of his life.

He also expressed his appreciation to the office and the working system as well as the co-operation between the staff.

“The office is filled with joy and understanding full of positivity each day and I hope you will continue to uphold this in the future,” he said.

During the programme, short speeches were also delivered by Kisheli Shikhu, ADEO; Solomon Ennio, PA, DMA-SS; Bendanglila, senior SDEO, Dimapur; Aienla Longkumer, principal of GHSS Singrijan; and Takukumba, headmaster of GHS, Maova. Special song was presented by Mughatoli Swu and Inato Wotsa.
