Dimapur, Aug. 30 (EMN): Denn’s 6/9, a departmental store retail outlet, was inaugurated on Monday by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, H Atokhe Aye.

Denn’s 6/9, (a unit of Denn retails private Limited) shop is located at Bharat Petrol Pump, TK Angami service, Lhomithi colony Dimapur.

While interacting with journalists, one of the promoters of ‘Denn retails private Limited’ Tirthankar Dhar said that it was a unique departmental store, where the facility of ticket size credit would be provided to middle and lower-income households with income brackets between INR 10,000 to INR 25,000.

Dhar added that lower-income households earn on a weekly or daily basis, therefore customers can do their monthly shopping on credit, which is of three stages — INR 5000, INR 10,000 and 15,000. The customer can avail the credit facilities of their choice and repay the credit the next month, he informed.

The promoter added that they were trying to bring the people into the mainstream financial system and added that at the moment, their target is to provide the small credit facilities to around 300 households in Lhomithi colony, Sematilla colony, Signal colony and Metha colony.

Dhar added that their target is to open 65 stores in rural or semi-urban areas in the next five years across the Northeast.
