Delhi Public School Dimapur celebrated its Annual Sports Day today at its school football ground with Managing Trustee, Nagaland Wild Life & Biodiversity Trust Bano Haralu as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students and the parents on the day, Bano Haralu while appreciating the potential athletes of Delhi Public School Dimapur stated that true education comprises of all around development, which includes development of mind and body. She promoted true winners to be someone who never gives up and gives his/her best. Retelling the daring account of Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan who fought for the right of education, she called upon the Students to be grateful to people who are fighting for the right for education.
Delhi public School Principal B.K.Nanda welcoming the parents and invited guests for the Annual Sports Day cited the glory of winning 5 national championships by the school and noted sports to be a means of coming out from indignation to contentment and from idle centric to all centric.
