DIMAPUR — As per the request made by Nagaland Zeliang People’s Organisation (NZPO), DEF Peren organised a programme on ‘Cyber Crime’ on April 29 from 10 am to 1 pm at St. Xavier’s College, Jalukie.
Atu Zumvü, SC, SDPO Peren, presented the case studies of the first case of cyber crime registered in the state in 2011 where the accused was convicted by the Court, DEF Peren in an update stated.
The case also won the ‘India Cyber Cop’ award from the Data Security Council of India during annual security summit held at Hotel Grand New Delhi.
Around 800 students took part in the programme.
