Mokokchung, Oct. 5 (EMN): Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS)’s district-level declamation contest on ‘Patriotism and Nation Building’ was held on October 4 at Jubilee Memorial College on the theme ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’.
The event was organised by NYKS, Mokokchung.
Limanungla, NYV, NYK, Mokokchung, informed in her keynote address that it is a national-level contest held in all blocks and districts. She said the contest gives an opportunity to the youths to exhibit their talents as well as provides them a platform to come together and create awareness for a stronger and a united country.
The declamation contest saw 19 participants from different colleges and institutions.
Moasenla of Jubilee Memorial College was declared the winner while Akumsunep from department of Economics, NU, Lumami and Noklensangyu of Jubilee Memorial College were stood in the second and third places respectively in the contest.
