Dead body found in Dimapur

Dimapur, Jan. 4: The corpse of a non-Naga male, aged around 45 years was found on Wednesday around 7.30 am near Dhansiri Bridge in Dimapur, according to police officials. The deceased has been identified as Raju Sahani, a small time businessman residing at of Full Nagarjan. His family members told police that he left home around 12 midnight on his bike to an unknown place and did not return home. He bore injury marks on the head. His dead body was discovered by passers-by who informed the police. His bike and other belongings were found with him. There were no other injury marks on his body except for the head injury and the cause cannot be ascertained at the moment, said the police official. The deceased body has been handed over for post mortem and investigation is on, informed police.
