DDCA U-16 inter-school cricket: Zakiesato down Christian HSS

DIMAPUR — Zakiesato Higher Secondary School defeated Christian Higher Secondary School by 64 runs at the ongoing DDCA U-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament 2024, held under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association, at Dimapur District Sports Council stadium on Thursday.

Zakiesato HSS won the toss and elected to bat first. The team posted a competitive total of 179 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Sajid and Shivam contributed 38 and 27 runs, respectively, an update stated.

In the run chase, Christian HSS were all out after scoring 115 runs, with Jahid scoring 33 runs as the main run getter.

The man of the match award went to Drona Chetry (18 runs and 4 wickets) of Zakiesato HSS.
