DDCA Inter-Club cricket result

EMN Dimapur, October 14 In the last league match of the ongoing Dimapur District Cricket Association Inter Club tournament being played at Nagaland Cricket Stadium Sovima , the Dimapur Royals C. C defeated 173 Bn CRPF (the Dimapur Dons) by 9 runs.  But the Dimapur Dons has entered the finals on a better run rate in their Group B . Earlier the Blue Star C. C has entered the finals from Group A by defeating the defending champions the Flamingoz. In today’s match the young Dimapur Royals C. C got the better of the Dons but could not stop the CRPF team qualifying for the finals on a better run rate in their league matches.  A destructive bowling spells by the Royals off spinner Tahmeed and a brilliant batting effort by Sedezhalie helped the Royals to beat the much superior Dimapur Dons team. At one stage the Dons were seven down for fourty six but the pair of Mandal and Dinesh gave the much needed runs to the team and helped them to gain a better run rate to qualify for the finals. Score Dimapur Dons won the toss and elected to field. Royals- 96 all out in 24.2 overs. Sedezhalie - 20 ,Chujanglung - 12 and Bittu - 11 runs.
