DDADU grateful, sets guidelines

The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers Union (DDADU) has thanked the CAO, UT-I, NSCN (IM) for the recovery of the auto-rickshaw (NL-07F-0931) which was lost on August 29. Meanwhile, the DDADU has urged the passengers to check their belongings before alighting from the autos and also instructed the auto drivers to deposit any belonging of passengers at the union office situated near Burma Camp Police Point.
The DDADU has also asked the auto owners to hand over their vehicles to drivers only after proper verification of identity, residential address and other relevant documents in this connection.
The union further asked passengers to lodge necessary complaints with its office in case of any harassment by the drivers.
It informed that separate identity cards will be issued to the drivers who operated at night and it can be obtained from the union office at the above mentioned address. a release issued by K Hokaito Zhimomi, president, DDADU also informed the owners of all new auto-rickshaws to register their vehicles with the union before plying.
