The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU), as the main commercial transport provider in Dimapur town for passengers, will assist the unsuspecting commuters from being charged exorbitant auto fares by setting up assistance booths in all 10 parking zones for the convenience of the public.
Informing of this in a release today, DDADU president K Hokaito Zhimomi has also requested the public to extend all possible cooperation to the union by not taking the law in their own hands and report to the union office for redressal of their grievances.
The DDADU has taken the decision in view of the festive season and help people from all over the State as well as neighbouring states flocking the commercial hub for Christmas shopping.

Further, the DDADU has directed the auto drivers to park their vehicles in the designated parking zones and not to move around unnecessarily looking for passengers to avoid traffic congestion during the rush hours.
