DCs, ADCs to control attendance of all department offices – Metsubo
DIMAPUR — Minister for Rural Development, Metsubo Jamir, informed that deputy commissioners and additional deputy commissioners will henceforth control the leave and attendance of all district department offices, which will then be tabled in the district planning and development board (DPDB) meetings.

The minister informed this during the Project Directors (PDs) and BDOs Conference 2023 held at RD conference hall, Kohima, on Saturday.

Towards this, Jamir urged upon all PDs and BDOs to be in their place of postings regularly.

Jamir also called for strict implementation of attendance during meetings and reiterated that any meeting called by the department has to be attended by all officers concerned because it is only during such meetings that issues can be discussed and deliberated and important information shared.
