DCCI condemns firing at Riven Honda showroom

Dimapur, Nov. 23 (EMN): Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has condemned the recent shooting by antisocial element at Riven Honda showroom at Dimapur. “The business community demands that those people who are trying to create fear psychosis among business community should be immediately arrested and punished and assures all its support to the investigating agency,” he DCCI stated in a press release. The DCCI said that the ‘business community are no more intimated by such threats and attempts’ but are determined and will come all out in unison to fights against such anti social elements. It further requested the business community to cooperate with the police and inform any sort of threat and intimidation for their safety and security. Meanwhile, saying that the business community, with the coming of the festive season, is burdened with forced donation and contribution, the DCCI warned ‘those elements’ to refrain from such collection. It also urged the business community to immediately inform the police of such collection and at the same time requested the police to take preemptive steps to curb such activities.
