Dimapur, March 17 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Wokha, Orenthung Lotha, officially launched Poshan Pakhwada 2021 for Wokha district at Vungkuoju Anganwadi centre in Wokha district on Tuesday.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=6]Speaking on the occasion, Orenthung has stressed on the importance of food forestry and ecological balance in order to produce maximum nutritional and organic food. He also planted a medicinal plant to mark the occasion, a DIPR report stated on March 16.
The child development project officer, Wokha, Myanlumo, who also chaired the programme, informed that a medicinal plant plantation programme was carried out across 124 Anganwadi centres in Wokha district.
The welcome address was delivered by DPO Wokha, Imlitongzuk.
