The meeting took place at his office chamber on Tuesday, according to a DIPR report. It focused on ensuring the smooth planning of all electioneering processes and aimed to guarantee a peaceful and successful conduct of the forthcoming election.

During the meeting, all the concerned nodal officers briefed him about the arrangements and activities undertaken by the committees, including personnel and manpower management, EVMs (electronic voting machines) and VVPATs (voter verifiable paper audit trail), transportation management, polling personnel, mess and food services, road maintenance, logistics, security arrangements, and dispatch and finalisation of all necessary arrangements.

After reviewing the preparedness status carried out by various committees, the DC and DEO urged all concerned to perform their assigned responsibilities with the utmost sincerity and dedication for the successful and smooth conduct of the electioneering process.

In addition to all other arrangements made, Ranjan further informed the Department of Public Works (Road and Bridges) to place machinery at strategic locations for the clearance of roads.
