Dimapur, Jan. 25 (EMN): Deputy commissioner and district election officer, Tuensang, has in an order, stating that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) had come into operation from January 18, 2018, and would remain in force till the completion of the state assembly election.
In this connection, a standing committee for operation of model code of conduct has been constituted at district level with the deputy commissioner and DEO as chairman, along with the returning officer from all the assembly constituencies, representatives of all registered national/ state political parties and additional SP Tuensang L Lemtur as members and Renben Mozhui as member secretary.
