Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): In pursuance to the chief secretary’s order dated August 31, Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier has issued new guidelines for strict implementation throughout the district till September 30.
The district would follow the latest SOP issued by the state government, a DIPR report stated on Thursday.
According to the new guidelines, entry/exit points in the district would be allowed only through the existing check gates namely at Heningkunglwa and Mhainamtsi and the entry into district through any other route would not be allowed.
Limitations on the number of passengers would be as per the existing state guidelines for lockdown measures. All the concerned administrator of town councils within the district should ensure installation of adequate hand washing facilities at the bus/ taxi/ autorickshaws stand, display adequate IEC materials (poster/ pamphlets/ flex banners) and conduct sensitisation programme on standard preventive measures for drivers and travellers.
Customers and shop keepers are to wear facemask compulsorily at all times. The policy of “No mask, No entry,” should be imposed. Concerned town council should conduct awareness drive on standard preventive measures for traders and their staff.
All government offices in the district should mandatorily function with a roster system of 50% staff attendance every alternate week. Every office should also designate a nodal officer for infection control to oversee proper maintenance and implementation of preventive measures.
