Dimapur, Aug. 4 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Mon and chairman of Wangkhao Government College advisory board, Ajit Kumar, called upon the teaching faculty to emphasise on early goal setting, importance of shaping one’s personality and remembering one’s roots and contribute to the society.
Ajit Kumar stated this while interacting with the faculty of Wangkhao Government College during his visit to the college on July 30. He was accompanied by the outgoing principal, Dr. I Wati Imchen, and incoming principal, Dr. Chandrasekaran, during the farewell programme of the outgoing principal, a DIPR report stated.
The deputy commissioner inspected the management and condition of the college infrastructure and interacted with the faculty members of WGC. He congratulated the college for the laudable achievement in acquiring the coveted B+ grade in their very first NAAC assessment.
He exhorted the college to set lofty goals and to continue working in unison and coordination. He further advised the college to be more accommodative and enroll more students through an all-round infrastructure development/ improvement.
