DC Mon imposes 144 CRPC in Aboi

Dimapur, July 14 (EMN): As a precautionary measure to mitigate the possible spread of Covid-19 and in the interest of public health and safety, the deputy commissioner of Mon has imposed section 144 Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) 1973 within 100m radius of the containment zone at 11 IRB, Aboi Camp.

The deputy commissioner of Mon, Thavaseelan K issued the notification following detection of a Covid-19 positive case at the quarantine centre at 11 IRB camp, Aboi, under Mon district on July 13, a DIPR report stated on Tuesday.

The DC further stated that the order would come into force with immediate effect and would remain till further orders. He cautioned that anyone violating the foresaid order would be liable for punishment under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

Free training course

In a separate statement, DC, Mon, informed that the Emporium Skill Training Institute would be conducting a free training (government sponsored) in the field of Aviation, cruise and hospitality at Dimapur for the reverse migrant workers from Nagaland.

According to the report, the training would be of three months duration. Reversed migrant workers in the age group between 18-32 years with a minimum educational qualification of 12 pass would be eligible for the training.

Interested candidates are asked to submit Class 10 and 12 admit card and mark sheets along with Aadhar card. They are further asked to forward their documents on WhatsApp no. 81190-00466 and 96128-99172.
