DC Kohima stresses on spreading happiness during Christmas season
DIMAPUR — The deputy commissioner of Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, urged everyone to embrace kindness, unity, empathy and encouraged to focus on spreading happiness rather than dwelling on past regrets.
He stated this during the advent Christmas-cum-picnic organised by office of the deputy commissioner, Kohima, at Puliebadze base camp in Jotsoma village on December 19. He extended Christmas greetings and emphasised on spirit of sharing joy with families and friends, stated a DIPR report.
Ramnikant stressed on the importance of unity and to welcome a new year with renewed energy. He encouraged continuous prayer for blessings and acceptance of life’s offerings.
Highlighting the significance of kindness, Ramnikant emphasised giving over receiving and called for collaborative efforts in the coming year to address challenges collectively.
The programme, chaired by EAC (Judicial), Dr. Riku Khutso, featured an invocation prayer by K Rakalung and a song presentation by Zapu Mere.
