DC Kohima seals three wards

Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): Following detection of Covid-19 positive persons residing at Naga Bazaar Colony Ward No. 4, D-Block Ward No.6 and Lower Chandmari Ward No. 13, the deputy commissioner of Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has demarcated those areas as sealed in order to contain the spread of the disease as well as for necessary contact tracing.

All movement of person/ vehicles within the defined sealed area has been strictly restricted and placed under active surveillance with immediate effect, a DIPR report stated on Sunday.

The demarcated area at Naga Bazaar Ward No. 4 included Naga Bazaar and Daklane junction in the east, Tri-junction near Naga Bazaar Baptist Church in the west, from main road near Zeme Baptist Church till Naga Bazaar and Daklane Boundary in the south and step near old Tata parking in the
north.

The demarcated are in D-Block under Ward No. 6 included footstep near Tsielietuo's residence toward Kitsubozou side of sector 6 in the east, main town road in the west, Kitsubozou and D-Block boundary footstep near Kikru's residence in the south and Kitsubozou main road below North PS in the south.

The demarcated area at Lower Chandmari Ward No. 13 included stream below 3AR camp in the east, colony main road in the west, GMS Lower Chandmari in the south and Nullah joining the stream below 3 AR camp in the north.
