DC Kohima modifies its earlier order

Dimapur, April 6 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Kohima has made some changes to its earlier order that was announced for the lockdown period, directing all business establishments and the public to strictly comply with its modified orders.

Here are orders, which the DC said, will come into force with immediate effect:

•Grocery shops, bakeries, vegetable vendors, pharmacies, and shops selling essential commodities are permitted to open only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the lockdown period.

•Only one member of each family shall be permitted to come out of their homes for procurement of essential commodities from the market.

•Only pharmacies are permitted to remain open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

•Movement of all vehicles shall be totally restricted except those vehicles which have the explicit permission of this office.

•Officials/staff/persons belonging to medical/police/district administration/paramilitary/media and vehicles carrying essential commodities with prior permission/emergency medical cases and are exempted from the purview of this order.
