DC Kiphire inducted as district president of Bharat Scouts and Guides
DIMAPUR — DC Kiphire John Tsulise Sangtam was inducted as the district president of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Kiphire, on Tuesday during a formal induction ceremony for the Kiphire district Bharat Scouts and Guides, which took place at the DC conference hall, Kiphire.
P. Lipichem, proprietor of Agape Higher Secondary School Kiphire, and Fr. Rev. Philip Magh, principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School Kiphire, were inducted as vice presidents on the occasion, while TR Abraham Sangtam assumed the role of district commissioner (Scout).
In his address, the newly inducted president lauded the Kiphire district Bharat Scouts and Guides, emphasising the movement’s positive impact. He stated that scouting and guiding, as volunteer endeavours for the betterment of society, should continue to foster positive growth. Sangtam also pledged full support and cooperation to the movement in the days ahead.
Inato Sema, DOC, officiated the induction ceremony, and Nyingsuthong Tikhir, DTC, spoke about the significance of Scouts and Guides during the event.
